So the motor driven toys are put away. Time to hit the hills and get the legs ready for winter.
Derek had a fun route idea on Mt Olympus so we gave it a whirl. He blogged about it with some cool Winter/Summer photo’s HERE.

I just ordered a copy of Flakes. It’s awesome that you are making movies and still skiing! Can’t wait to see it and show some of my friends. I don’t think they really believe that I used to ski for a living. I’ll have to dig out the first t-shirt that you made for you and the original gang. I think I conned it from you by trading a patrol shirt. I also looked at your pics from Brewvies. Wow, what a blast from the past. I remember seeing a movie about Everest there. Is that your sister who’s iron I ruined by waxing my skies before we went to Alta? Anyway, if you see the old gang say hi to them for me and if I’m ever in Utah again I’ll definately look you up. Adios, Smeenk
Wow Jeff! It’s been a long time. How are things? Thanks for getting in touch. Those early DV days were some of the best. Get in touch if you come out this way.
Noah, It’s good to see that you’re still having fun! Frank Borrelli called out of the blue the other day and got me thinking about all my D.V. friends. If you and your bro ever decide to hit the highest points in the states again, stop buy, I live next door to both North and South Dakota’s. Take Care, Smeenk
