Wow! We’ve just wrapped up with one of the best storm cycles I can recall. The snow has just been non stop until yesterday and I’ve been out with friends filming and tracking up as much as possible.

Flat light and fat flakes make it hard to shoot deep in the backcountry. Here Jonah nails the shot as I smile for the camera.

Meanwhile Jay Beyer (Thanks as always for the pics) captures Jonah capturing me as I capture a mouthful.

It’s been so light and deep it’s hard to tell when you’re off the ground or when you’re in the air.

We’ve had to shut down production on several different days due to the heavy blowing snowfall.

As I’ve said before, it’s a tough job, but somebody has to do it.

You may recognize this aspen forest! It’s been in every one of our flicks, usually as the deep pow segment. For some reason it just snows ungodly amounts here. Thank God! No, I’m not going to give away the location, but if you park near the maid’s spoon trailhead and wander around you’re likely to find it.

Looks like more snow on the way!
